100% Fine Wool (Rambouillet) grown in New Mexico and hand dyed by the indigenous Diné (Navajo) community. Using traditional methods has resulted in a subdued palette of natural tones that reflect the high desert environment of the American Southwest. The skeins are named for the plants used to create each hue.
This yarn is dyed with all-natural logwood. It is the inherent nature of natural logwood-dyed yarns to have some "rub off." We have done everything possible to minimize this; however, you may experience some color rubbing off onto your hands or needles. It is not harmful and will wash off. We recommend that you use metal needles.
Part of the proceeds from the sales of these skeins will benefit the artists who painted them.
