This knit-in-one piece, textured vest has the neck edging worked as you go along - no stitches to pick up later! Make it in Mountain Mohair, Weekend Wool or Maine Organic.
Norwegian Roses is knit in four colors of worsted weight yarn with a myriad of possible colorways. The body is made in one piece; front bands and neck are four rows of single crochet. Sleeve cuffs are turned under and sewn in place for double thickness.

This is a classic fall sweater, perfect for a weekend in Vermont! I was delighted to design this pullover in Sylvan Spirit, a yarn whose single ply construction is consistent with the rustic feel of the Green Mountain Spinnery, while the Tencel® content lends a lovely and slightly dressier, sheen. It beautifully shows off the cable and lace stitch pattern edging this raglan.

Eyelets made without yarn overs, decreases that feel like they are pointing the wrong way, set-in sleeves from the top down, and picking up edge stitches from the wrong side? This pattern may challenge ideas about the "right way to do things" or at least put a new twist on the tried and true. Stay focused and read the directions carefully - the fun awaits!

The Puntas (points) are inspired by the incredible knitting of the Andes. Puntas done as fine as 28 sts / inch edge many a colorful hat. Boys as young as ten learn the necessary skills, and knit their own intricate hats. This sweater incorporates this great technique.
Pattern includes Children's and Adult Sizes

“I love working at the Spinnery and I’m proud of the quality of our yarn, which comes from the way it’s made. The Spinnery has always felt like family to me.” Shows are also very rewarding for Maureen because she gets to talk to so many knitters and find out what they are making and which yarns excite them. Maureen is known for creating elegant functional designs with a straightforward knitting experience, and this Fair Isle yoked vest, knit in the round with a steek, is no exception.

I love working with Spinnery yarn. I’ve been knitting since I was about 5 or 6 and have used lots of different yarns over the years. None beat the consistently high quality and variety of fibers of Spinnery yarns. I designed this hoodie in honor of my grandnephew. Closed with either buttons or a zipper, it is an easy and quick pattern for the active child in your life.

Contemporary, classic and comfy, this ribbed turtleneck pattern can be knit in two styles, long sleeved pullover or sleeveless shell. Both are circularly knit in stockinette stitch with an overall seed stitch "pinstripe" pattern. The pullover features set-in, shaped sleeves for an elegant, finished fit. Designed for all-season wear in our Cotton Comfort and Sylvan Spirit yarns, or choose Alpaca Elegance for lightweight warmth.
