The prototype of this hat was “borrowed” by our staff members for ski outings to various mountains during the snowy winter of 2007-08.
This warm and flattering hat has a cabled band that is knit sideways and an attractive double decrease at the crown.
The cabled band can be knit alone to wear as an earwarmer.

Inspired by sweaters and textiles from her childhood, designer Melissa Johnson has created this V-neck cardigan knit in a rich but easy Fair Isle pattern or a solid color with contrasting trim. Sitting at her work table Melissa looks out to the Great Meadows, rich agricultural land on the banks of the Connecticut River.
