Along with your passport you’ll receive a tote bag with the map and details about each of the eleven fabulous shops. \nGet your Shop Hop passport stamped by visiting the participating shops over the 4-day Shop Hop weekend (June 22nd – 25th\, 2017).\nEvery time you get your passport stamped you willed be entered to win the Daily Door Prize at that shop. DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that Bristol Ivy will be the featured instructor for the Spinnery’s 2017 Sugar Season Knitting Retreat. Bristol Ivy is a knitting designer and teacher from Portland\, Maine. Her design work focuses on the intersection between innovative technique and classic tailoring\, and her classes focus on creativity\, technique\, and understanding the nuts and bolts of knitting. \nWe’ll be focusing our class time with her on shawl construction and design. The workshop will be held in Brattleboro\, Vermont from Friday\, March 24th to Sunday\, March 26th\, 2016. It will begin with dinner on Friday evening and conclude by noon on Sunday. The Spinnery’s weekends feature great food\, lively companionship and lots of yarny goodness. SUMMARY:Knitters in the Green Mountains
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that  Thea Coleman and Ellen Mason will be the featured instructor for the Spinnery’s 25th Annual Knitters in the Green Mountains weekend workshop. \nThea will impress us with her design process where she will take us from yarn thoughts to motifs to actually plotting ideas for a basic design and they begin to design their own cowls. The other is “playing with cables” where we look at things we can do with cables- pair them together\, play them off of one another\, change the size\, add/change texture\, add/change lace\, make a panel\, read and create a chart\, etc. Ellen will be sharing her creative ways for sculpting a mitten thumb with her Fried Chicken Mitten\, working two at a time using magic loop and possibly a small sewing project?? \nVermont is lovely in the fall\, and we would love to include you in this gathering that will make for a delightful weekend. \nThe workshop will be held in Putney\, Vermont from Friday\, November 6th to Sunday\, November 8th\, 2015. \nThe Spinnery’s weekends feature great food\, lively companionship and lots of yarny goodness. \nA cost of $390.00 per person includes all workshops and meals (Friday dinner\, Saturday continental breakfast\, lunch and dinner and Sunday continental breakfast.) \nFind the registration form here.
