Description
A blend of some of the rarest American-grown natural fibers, 50% super fine kid mohair and 50% fine wool. This yarn is elastic, warm and soft with a subtle luster. This hand painted 2-ply yarn is a tribute to the farmers and animals that produce such excellent fleeces. Our natural minimally treated fibers absorb dye a bit differently than superwashed skeins, making these skeins unique.
50% Fine Western Wool Targhee (a cross between Rambouillet and Columbia sourced from herds along the Front Range of the Rockies)
50% Fine Kid Mohair (fiber sheared from Angora Goats less than two years old sourced from herds in Vermont, North Carolina and Pennsylvania)
