2026 I-91 Shop Hop

Thirteen yarn shops along the I-91 corridor will participate in the I-91 Shop Hop, which runs from August 7 through August 15 this year. The Shop Hop, which began in 2011, brings knitters, crocheters, and other fiber artists from all over New England to shops stretching from New Haven, CT up to West Lebanon, NH.

Shoppers can purchase a Shop Hop Passport for $10 at any of the participating shops, and will also receive a special I-91 Shop Hop tote bag (subject to availability). They then show their passport at each shop they visit and get it stamped. Participants are eligible for daily door prize drawings on days they visit shops, and eligible for a grand prize drawing if they have their passport stamped at all 13 shops on the list.

This year, each shop participating in the Shop Hop will offer a free pattern for a 12-inch square. Both knitting and crochet patterns will be offered. Shoppers can purchase yarn at each shop to make the squares, then sew them together to make a patchwork blanket and a pillow cover.

Each participating shop has a slightly different focus when it comes to yarns, fiber, and notions. Some shops focus on natural fibers, others on locally sourced wool or hand-dyed yarn, and some shops carry a wide variety of non-wool options. This year’s Shop Hop includes several new additions, as well.
