Windrow – 237

Designed by Kate Salomon

All summer long you’ll hear Vermont farmers talking about hay.  The curving parallel lines of drying grass follow the contours of the fields creating a textured landscape that speaks of summer’s long days and soft evenings.

This relaxed cardigan features a slipped stitch seeded rib along the collar, cuffs and hem that resembles the soft windrows of hay found in Vermont fields in late July and August.  The open fronted sweater can be knit up with any of our DK weight yarns for a utilitarian wardrobe staple that can be flexibly styled to work for any outfit or occasion.

Shown here in Mean Mr. Mustard Mewesic with about 8″ or positive ease on Meghan.
